Board modeler Lite allows simple extruded shapes with height attributes to quickly allow printed circuit layout and mechanical design packaging to take place concurrently.

Using any number of 3D design tools  available on the market, more detailed 3D parts can be used to replace the initial simple shapes producing as detailed a package layout as desired.
